Now I'm a really big n00b, but is it possible to take existing flash games and get them to play on the Wii?
There is a site dedicated to flash games for the Wii.
Search for Wii flash games

Sorry I should have made it know that I meant playable through a channel or through the Homebrew Channel. Basically, playable offline.

If you can wi-fi to your pc.....

Install a web server to your pc EG Apache.
Then get boot opera and the internet channel for the Wii.
Set the config to load an index page from your pc.
For the index page make it either a frames page or have a dynamic bar for a menu using JS. (frames=easy, dynamic hides and is better) LINK
Make a folder on your pc to store the flash games, grab some from online and put in the folder. LINK
Get some php code online to list whats in the directory and make them links LINK and have the index page load them into the main frame.

I was in the middle of a guide to do this a long time ago but the lack of interest made me not bother.....

......

If you can't wi-fi to your pc then ignore me

Although there is a way to hack the internet channel and replace a page for a flash game, it's too complicated to remember and too much hassle to do imho plus the saves never worked for me so I decided to do the local host method.

What if one were to download the SWF file and place it on an SD card?
Is there any way to play the SWF off the SD card?

This is what I was wondering...

Anyone know if it'll ever be possible?
