I've downloaded an album but it was all in one large flac file. I was wondering how I could extract the songs individually as mp3s or something?

Thanks

First, flac is just another type of audio file like .wav or .mp3, you can't extract something from it. You can convert it though. Foobar2000 is a audio player like Winamp and it comes with flac supported (it's free). I think Winamp and Windows Media Player both need a plugin in order for them to read flac files.

Foobar can take the Flac file, when it read it, it separates them into tracks, using a built-in feature you can cut the flac into individual files while also converting them to lossless MP3s.

The one giant flac file should've came with a .cue file, which should(?) be containing all the tracks.
