There's no fix for Emerald, but GBATA has a clock fix for Ruby & Sapphire.

Fire Red and Leaf Green don't have clocks, so they didn't have any batteries in the first place.

Keep in mind that the clock fix doesn't magically add a real time clock to the 3-in-1; it only makes the clock advance while the game is running. It doesn't advance while it's turned off like the real game paks.

If 24 hours have to pass for something to happen, then yes, you would have to leave the game running for 24 hours.

    You could also use VisualBoyAdvance.

Whenever you want to advance the clock, copy your 3in1 save to the computer, and run the ROM in VBA, then advance the system time forward 1 day and save the game.

After closing VBA you can set the system time back to normal.

It doesnt matter that much it just really sucks when soft resetting for shines the message slows it down.
