Got it to here in Eu.
Don't have any flashcart though.

I'm looking for one now and i see nothing really beside the flashcard block. Their should be since it jumped from 4.1.0-8 to 4.2.0-9

I can also confirm that Supercard DSTwo also blocked. Haven't noticed any features added other than blocking flashcarts.

No, when you go to eshop it will ask you to update your 3DS.

No, it will prompt you and you can accept and update yourself. Just don't update. I recommend you turn on parental controls so a passcode has to be entered in order to update, especially if other people use your 3DS.

I saw somewhere that this new update now lets you change the 3DS menus color schemes.

Yes, I also run Wood. It has the Narnia icon, I think they just went after the major ones.
