Gaming Firmware required to play KH: BBS?

My friend just got himself a brand new PSP 3000, 6.60 pro b10 firmware... the problem is it crashes when trying to play KH:BBS Final Mix and Persona 2...would anyone happen to know if the firmware's the problem?

Dependent upon how he "Acquired" those games. If he store bought them, then I can only suggest switching to OFW to test it out. If that doesn't work it's the games themselves. If he.... "Acquired" them then he should buy physical copies. Now if he bought them and then put them on his MS (like a smart person) then he needs to re-create files for those games because they're possibly corrupt.

I don't know about persona, but I do know that BBS needed a really hacky workaround to work on older CFWs, and versions patched for that won't run on newer CFWs.

Get a clean copy of the BBS ISO and it'll run.

i have BBS and my iso works fine on 6.60 pro and persona aswell
