Everyone else does it, at least mine is relative to "not updating for hax" as some people call it. Besides, most people on this side of the forum are keeping their firmware low. Once they've updated they won't check here as often. I know I wouldn't.

I updated my console to update my games cause I gave up on waiting, we all know it'll happen in a year or two for new firmwares so whatever have fun instead of making it a paperweight.

Pretty sure there has been at least one thread about this already.
I already updated to 3.0.1 for Splatoon 2 and updated again for the Octopath demo (which is really good by the way)

Probably when The Switch becomes GC Compatible and there has still been no word of hacks anywhere, it will be dope carrying around F zero GX on the go.
But that will probably never happen, at least not until years from now at most.

I haven't updated, and I'm so busy that I probably won't update. If I had more free time and disposable income I might do it, but as it is, I have a lot of other platforms to enjoy games on while I wait patiently.

How about on a console where having up to date firmware doesn't do you anything but a disservice, say on a 3ds without b9l - or a fully updated ps3 (instead of 3.55)?
