I think they should give an option to disable dldi autopatching. It is causing DSO to not boot homebrew correctly.

We've been in contact with the R4 team and can happily say that firmware v1.12 is in the works. There is absolutely no set release date yet, so it will "be done when it's done". But owners can rest assured that they haven't abandoned the cart! Also, no successor to the R4 is in the works. Nothing but the new shell design.

Also, I would like to see the top screen with the file selection down at the bottom, so I can select my rom with the stylus.

Basicly I think the device is awsome, but I think the gui needs a nice overhaul.

thats the main thing i would like to be fixed also, but i doubt it will be becasue it's been like that since it was released.

I want an Options icon in the form of a spanner. It could go on the Icons screen in the same place where the brightness icon is in bck2.

Ideas for options people?

Maybe an option to switch the flashing icon box On/Off.
An option to change the language.

thats built into the r4, a firmware change cant change that

It's official now! Costello just posted it on the front page of gbatemp.

My wish actually came true! SDHC compatibility without the need to replace our R4's! xD Wonderful news!

The R4 is the only product I had that became better as time went by. Download play fixes and all. =D 3 cheers to the superb R4 team!
