it'd be better if they had more Homebrew support- Wii & DS connectivity
- game fixes (for recent games like Worms 2)
This is all I can think of for this new version.
Yup, if they'd fix those issues it'd be perfect!

We've been in contact with the R4 team and can happily say that firmware v1.12 is in the works. There is absolutely no set release date yet, so it will "be done when it's done". But owners can rest assured that they haven't abandoned the cart! Also, no successor to the R4 is in the works. Nothing but the new shell design.you heard it here first![]()

Also, I would like to see the top screen with the file selection down at the bottom, so I can select my rom with the stylus.  Â
Basicly I think the device is awsome, but I think the gui needs a nice overhaul.
I want the 1.12 to be able to make banking errors in your favor.

Oh, and I'd like... (damn, I hope it doesn't already do this and make me flamebait!)
... to either boot up to the R4 interface and drop to the default DS interface from it, or have the option to boot to the default DS interface and then load the R4 from the Slot 1 selection on that interface -- kinda like what I've seen the Acekard R.P.G. does.
Did that make sense?

Its not official until the firmware is released. It's official now! Costello just posted it on the front page of gbatemp.
My wish actually came true! SDHC compatibility without the need to replace our R4's!
