Honestly, I don't care so much about graphics now, but it's really off-putting in this game.
All the new Fire Emblem games over the past 5 years have had a cartoony style, and it really suits it. Besides, it's not as if the models look realistic, they look like someone stuck 'em in a computer and rendered them with hardly any shading and texture to them.
Still, I'm gonna try and get into this as best I can, hopefully it'll be really good

God I love this game!
Really one of the best games for the DS IMHO.
Sure it has it's flaws, but Fire Emblem just makes all up for those minor flaws.
I sure hope Intelligent Systems announces more Fire Emblems, because I'm loving this one!

For some reason this was easier to get into than the GBA games. Maybe I was compelled by the odd writing and the difficulty. I don't know how hard this game is for you guys, but when someone dies I feel like I lost an important member, and it seems difficult that you can just lose characters forever. It's my first Fire Emblem game, and I kind of like it

I agree for too many people garphics they dont like=bad game.

Its bunk, its the reason the Final Fantasy series went down hill after 6, it became a "how pretty can we make this game" campaign.

Back to FE though, I love this game, picked it up on a wim and then proceeded to play it for about 5 hours.

It isn't too hard, but not too easy either.

Well, I would say a lot harder.
When characters die, they are dead, they won't ever come back.
That's about the biggest difference. And offcourse a great story, something else then FFT and Advance Wars

I think that I like Fire Emblem the best out of those three!
The whole feeling abut the game is somehow special..I really enjoy it, I don't think that graphics are that bad at all, and just like Satangel said, it's not too easy but not too hard either!

Would you mind giving the characters which you used to finish the game? Because there are so much characters now, I don't really know which ones to use.

At the moment I'm using these characters:

Frey, Hardin, Merric, Lena, Wendell, Jeorge, Gordin, Roger, Radd, Shiida, Julian, Barst, Bord and Minerva.

Sedgar (changed to hero; him as general supposedly makes the game easy as hell)
Wolf (same as sedgar, just less broken)

And some others I may have forgotten. If you want the game really easy, change Sedgar and Wolf into generals and watch EVERYTHING non magical do 0 damage.
