Hi my friends bought firecards and they dont seem to work. is there a firmware or anything or a fix that i can do to get it to jump start?

It sounds like a cheap knockoff of some sort. If I were your friends, I'd try to get my money back and then go purchase a better flashcart (like an Acekard2i or M3i Zero).

ya ive heard of them. they tend to erase saves and things that are not helpful.
