Hacking Find out wii version to fix setting menu

Hi I booted up my hacked wii first time in 3 years
I'm sure it was on 4.1
When I access settings menu the wii just restarts so I am unsure the version

How can I find out the wii version to use dop mii to re install the system menu?

Just do fresh install on your system.
Use modmii by xflak to get your files and follow it;s generated guide.
A baby can do this so no worries.

Load wiimod,
go to advanced region settings
Region will be USA, EURO, JAP, KOR

2 options-
1 Install system menu and ios to match your region settings

2 Set region settings to system menu of your choice, then install that region system menu (and elua and region select).

-ensure you have system ios installed for your system menu.
