LAST QUESTION

After installing the ios16 and the ciosfix.wad i from djtaz sign i run the IOSDOWNGRADER so all my ios downgrade to an old version and then i install the ciosintaller and the launcher 0.3.

NOW

1) Do i need to delete the ios16 now? is there any problem that the ios16 is in my wii?
2) Do i need to delete the ios51? the iosdowngrader don't affect that ios but it gives no problem so i don't know if i need to delete it

But, I was thinking...why IOS16 and not IOS35 (default for homebrew ?) with WUFE from DVD games like SSBB ?
WUFE modifies the Nintendo signature ?

Hey guys only just registered and getting really into this Wii stuff having grown bored of messing with my other devices...(xbx,360,N96) anyway...

i'm running 3.3eV1 with hbc-beta9 and isoloader v0.3 as a channel

i've also installed the shop updates and the ios51

now since there is a work around now.....

would you agree it would be the best to uninstall everything....update and re-hack??

or take the approach of if it aint broke...dont fix it????

Simply extract IOS15 from a game iso with WiiScrubber (i used the one in SSBB), extract all the files in the RAR and drag IOS15 on the bat file, it will do the patch and output ios16.wad

One thing I just don't understand yet. Why is IOS16 required for all of this? I understand it still has the signing bug.
But what if you would extract a different IOS from a game disc. Let's say IOS36. An old, unupdated IOS that still has the signing bug and you install it using the wad manager. That should work, because that IOS is correctly signed.
Couldn't the wad manager then just use thát IOS from then on to install the incorrectly signed pirated wads?

Can be used WUFE instead of WiiScrubber ?
