Final Fantasy 7 Playstation Port Coming to PSN

I don't wanna buy a PS3, but if a remake of FF7 gets out for it, I'll HAVE to buy one

I personally don't care for the FF mainstream series anymore, since they really killed it after 8 IMO. Although I've only beaten this game once, I can definitely say that it isn't worth all the attention it's getting, but still a good game overall. The only thing that I thought made this game great was how it was a big turning point in the series. Though it was kind of short lived for me.

Cool. Although I already own a hard copy of it I will probably buy it anyway. I am crazy like that.

Also the only FF I dislike is XI because it almost ruined my life. (well, not really, but you know what I mean) Its funny how anytime any FF is even mentioned there are tons of people saying, "The last good FF was VI" "X killed the series" and so on. No series has garnered so much love and hate as FF has. FF, its serious business.

TBH, I also consider VI as the best in the series. The main reason is the character development, which made each and every character somehow feel important (Except for a few, like Umaro and Gogo). There's really no other RPGs like that. Also, we get the insane villain who actually managed to destroy the world (Though not completely, it was ruined, thrown off balance and everything) before being foiled, which IMO is what RPG stories are lacking.

So will the PSP Go be able to play this? I'd say it's about time I finally got around to playing this game, since it doesn't seem like a DS port is feasible.

PC version requires a stoneage PC.
my current laptop even needs to run it on a virtual machine with XP to make it run any bit playable(but even then it still runs at double the speed it should)

also "cursed motherboard" is no longer an excuse.
3k is the only PSP that can't play converted PSX games.
TA-088v3 can just use HEN+CFWe+pops

I ran it in Vista fine. If you are having speed issues, it's probably because you're using a dual core. To get the game to run correctly, you simply need to disable a core when playing. This can be done after starting the game and going to the task manager and setting the affinity or using a command prompt that will auto disable a core when you start the game.

Also, I want to say, playing it on the computer just doesn't feel right. The music is all midi and if you have a large screen there's a bit of an odd texture to the game.

1 Remake the game for PS3 or whatever floats your boat and satisfy every fanboy(s)/fangirl(s) wet dreams
2 Stop beating up the already dead horse and move the FUCK ON!!

I'm the only one who's replaying FFVI right now and that doesn't feel that the game really lives up the hype?

Yeah, it's a nice FF, but I probably like V more than VI. Also I can't really see all that "character development"...

I've already finished it something like 2-3 times years ago. Was replaying it now just after I've replayed V.

And currently I'm in the second half
