ive been playing 4 players with this game and it's quite fun.

Pros:
- Boss battles are a lot easier and more fun
- Competitive quests
- Multiple magic piling

Cons:
- Gets very laggy but still playable on maps with a lot of monsters
- Waiting for friends to buy items/equips. =)
- Only 4 classes and not much variety with builds.

Bought it, just finished the 2nd dungeon but is the Second best DS action rpg next to Phantom Hourglass only.

And I don't get the "kiddy" and "too cute" comments: if you bought a DS what were you expecting really, Gears of War and GTA?

are there any other games like this for the DS? e.g games like Champions of norrath, diablo etc.
One that I can think of: Dungeon Explorer. It's a port of the PSP version, though (no matter what they say, it's obvious which one was designed foremost and which was modelled after it in development), and it shows in places... it doesn't use the touchscreen at all, the graphics are frequently noticably 'scaled down' in awkward ways, and several things from the PSP version were cut. (Half the classes, for instance.)

Despite these gripes, it's not that bad of a game, and it offers much more character customization options. I liked the fact that the 'arts shards' that you use to upgrade your character are random drops and not things you gain with level... this means that you don't have to constantly worry about ruining your build forever by spending one in the wrong place (as was often a problem in Diablo 2 and its clones.)

do we really need another topic? I found the game to be pretty mediocre. I played it for 6 hours and then deleted it. The controls were particularly annoying (I really hate when the developers include the touch screen controls just for the heck of it). Plus, the whole game felt way too kiddy for me. 5/10.
I felt this way as well with the opening scene when Yuri and Chelinka started talking. It felt retarded but as I progressed the characters grew on me (literally).

Holy crap, characters literally grew on you? So you have miniature or fullsized Yuri and Chelinka stuck to your back? Take a picture!
No lol, what I meant was they actually grow up a bit since the opening sequence.
