Just a quick note, the offsets are the same in the EUR version so the ips patch will work for that.

Is it still necessary to apply the patches / cheatcodes to the FF CC - Rings Of Fate ROM when you have updated your R4 to the latest firmware revision, 1.17, or for the M3Simply, 1.13 (soon to be released)?

Does the M3 DS Simply support AR? Such as the AR codes in the first page and such, because I really would like infinite GIL on my FFCC ROF file :/

You can be assured Rayder's CHEAT file (see his sig) works on M3Simply or R4DS. I have no idea what format the cheats are encoded in, but the infinite gil cheat is there as well.

WHen you enter the big city and go talk to a shopkeeper, does it freeze for anyone else? It freezes when i go stand on the pedestral next to the shop too.

Only the top screen freezes though, not the bottom. And it works fine without the cheat code on.

does this work on G6? i got a prepatched rom but it randomly freeze... should i try getting the original rom and then apply your patcher?
Social0 - yeah it freezed to me when i talked to the shopkeeper too... are you playing on a G6 too? (it also freezed after i tried to enter the second dungeon again)
EDIT - ok i have tried cracker crack on the original rom and now the game doesn't even start

it just freezes at the G6 menu when it loads

cracker - i prefer waiting for an u-disk manager update than bothering with AR code but do you have any idea of why it might freeze when i try to use a rom patched with your tool? maybe i should upgrade my firmware? maybe i did something wrong when i used the u-disk manager on it?

The patch resets the whole timer while the test AR code would only reset the highest 2 bytes and leave the rest of the timer intact. So it might prevent the shop from freezing.

no no wait my problem is different... i was able to pass the shop
my problem is that the game randomly freeze when loading thing,first time it was the item shop after the item tutorial and the second time was when i re-entered the second dungeon... i exited from it to buy some potion and when i entered it again i got a nice black screen :/
it takes quite a while before it freezes so maybe it's MoD related

well it's been a while since i updated my g6 firmware (last time was for pokemon diamond... i don't like doing a procedure that might ruin the card) so care for a refresher course about how to do it?
or do you mean to just update the u-disk manager?

Sorry, I meant the U-Disk Manager. I have no idea when I last updated the actual firmware.

well my u-disk manager is pretty old too... i'll try with the latest u-disk manager

i have upgrade my u-disk manager to v5.0 and now everything works perfectly
have played for 2 hours without any freezing or MoD

Fantastic! Thank you for this patch cracker. Anyways I still think of buying this game, because it's really great. Best game ever besides Zelda Phantom Hourglass.
