Update !

@XploitOcelot It's in the works, but it's quite hard, I would also like to add blargg's NTSC filters ^^

@umjammercammy I have to prepare my GameCube to see and repair if necessary.

@InfiniteBlue Thank you ^^ (as you can see I included your great work in TX), for fbx palette on crt it is Magnum ;)

PS: as indicated in the readme file, I made a lot of changes in the translation files. If you ever think that some translations can be improved, put it in the comments.

Thanks for this new update of FCEUX TX 1.1.3 :)

Also thanks for new Snes9x TX 1.0.9 :)

Do you have plans for add to these two emulators these missing following commits?: (i think with these the new updates were even better after almost 8 months :P )

- support forwarders that pass in sd1:/ (to both FCEUX TX and Snes9x TX)
- Allow "Original" render mode in 480p configurations (niuus) (to both FCEUX TX and Snes9x TX)

And I don't know if when you said on the changelog "Reorganized video rendering mode to Original/Unfiltered/Filtered (Unfiltered by default)", i think you also considered this commit on FCEUX TX? :P
- Fix mistake with render settings in Filtered (Sharp/Soft)

Thanks again for your great work @Tanooki16 :D

can borders be added like the ones in retroarch, to fill the black parts of the screen while playing in 16:9 format?

Anyone is interested in backport the changes made on this modification of Libretro's port of FCEUmm made by Tippek libretro-fceumm-mod (https://github.com/Tippek/libretro-fceumm-mod) to a separate code of FCEUX TX for add support for the hack "Super Mario Bros. 1/3" (made by Corpse Grinder) on a custom build of FCEUX TX?

It could be great to play this awesome hack on Wii, and since both FCEUmm and FCEUX TX are based on FCEUX emulator, this could be a little easier (i think?) :)

Thanks :D

Update :) a special thanks to InfiniteBlue !

@SaulFabre If I understood correctly this makes the emulator compatible only with games that use this hack.

That said, why not, as soon as I have the time I may well prepare a special version ^^ And thank you for your libfat with UStealth Mod very good work ;)

@Tanooki16

First place thanks for the update of FCEUX TX and Snes9x TX, awesome work, i will test them today when i have the time.

Second, the advanced romhack "Super Mario Bros. 1/3" made by Corpse Grinder needs to be played in a custom version of FCEUX, otherwise it won't work.
I was asking you if you could have the time and interest for make a separated build of FCEUX TX (not merged on main source but on a copy of your source) which is able to run this very advanced romhack (and maybe a few others...?), using Tippek's modifications for get this working on this libretro-fceumm-mod (https://github.com/Tippek/libretro-fceumm-mod)?

Thanks a lot again :D
Today more people like you (and me because recently i modified latest libFAT for include UStealth support) are efforting at least a bit for keep the Wii scene alive. :)

Hi, here is a beta version, not much time to work on it but I corrected an error, the work continues (video filters ^^)

---FCEUX TX 1.1.5 Beta---
---?? ?? 2022---

- Removed exit sound of UI (sometimes causes a small audio crackle when returning to game)
- Fixed not loading vertical video shift setting preference
- Updated all language files

Overclock for FCEUX TX (two modes), to test with Contra Force to see the big difference ^^ normally everything is good, but the tests will be useful :)

---FCEUX TX 1.1.5 Beta 2---
---?? ?? 2022---

- Updated to the latest FCE Ultra GX (git 2246982)
- Removed exit sound of UI (sometimes causes a small audio crackle when returning to game)
- Added postrender 2x/vblank 2x PPU overclock option in video settings
- Fixed not loading vertical video shift setting preference
- Updated all language files

The other day I was trying Retroarch 1.9.0 with FCEU core and I was able to enable two frames of Runahead with no performance penalty on Wii. Do you think this is doable on your (great) NES emulator? It would be a game changer. Thanks for your amazing work!

@RunningSnakes: Yes, overclocking is great with this one.

@DDinghoya: Thanks, it's added ;)

@John Player: Thanks, but unfortunately not, because Retroarch is different.

New update ^^
There is of course the PPU overclocking from the last beta. The user interface and menu have been changed a bit, especially the video settings. As said before, there is an option to enable/disable bilinear filtering, and a much more explicit and easier to use 240p mode.

I am having issues with the 1.5 version.

Cannot:
Load cheats
Creat/Write Savestates
gg.rom seems to need to be in the sd:/apps/fcuetx to be detected.

This is not an issue with my SD because GX works fine.

It seems to not be able to detect the correct folder paths and they are correct.

Tested both cheats and saves and they are working correctly for me. In your apps/fceutx folder, delete the settings.xml file, i think this is causing your issue.

I will try that. Thanks.

Edit:

The fault was on my end. I thought it fceutx when it is fceuxtx. The name change fixed the issue.
