Oh I was fine with a few JPGs.

what exactly isn't working and how?

It only accepts JPGs at the moment.
There used to be a size restriction as well, but that should have been removed.

When I uploaded the image it wouldn't appear as the thumbnail - it'd stay as the green box no matter what I did, but when I browsed it on my phone it seems to have worked just fine. I'm confused as to why it wasn't working befote but it seems to have fixed itself.

Your browser may have possibly cached the question box image.
You should try a cache refresh.

Phew, it seems the review system just got improved. The previous version made me feel kind of suffocated with so little space. Now the preview is better and the release date can be specified manually. Thanks to whoever did this.
It appears that reviews come out with the date they were first saved rather than when they were published. Is it supposed to be like that?

well it looked like it worked this time but its fine mine looks good as it is. we got to keep in mind the review feature is still new, there is bound to be a few problems
