I had trouble with it at first, but the file replacement method works great. To those having trouble, make sure you're not putting your main.dol and related files in the same directory as the rest of your files before repacking it or you'll have two of each on the final ISO image which stops it from booting. If in doubt, fire it up in dolphin before trying it on actual hardware to save time/blank DVDs.

Thanks for the effort that went into the patch, Tempus!

Tempus already stated that he's not "anti-piracy." He's just trying to make the patch more accessible to legal users. I just want to know why a patched iso was taken off of torrents...

I tried to rebuild the partition and it says it's bad. Someone save me the trouble and make a torrent, thanks.

"Import" a game... get real.

Suck me. Next you're going to be even lamer by saying something stupid like "Post pics if you have it!".
And while you're at it, why don't you make an ISO for yourself rather than depending on someone else to do everything for you?

Sad people. Just sad. Nobody's throwing a tantrum over anything. If you really wanna pirate shit, do it yourself and don't request to get spoon-fed. Replacing the files takes no more than 5 minutes. You guys are just straight out dolts.

As is there no need to throw insult or be holier-than-thou about things on a forum that's mainly about "backups" of games on Nintendo consoles. Some people have -NO- way to launch even the original game from the Disc Channel. For example I'm stuck with a non-patchable fake wiikey (which I won't risk removing for one game, since my wii's long since out of warrant) thus I have to launch even my original games from a backup launcher, otherwise it will just throw up a 001 error.

Fact is you can patch the game yourself if you take 5 minutes to look at the files. Yet everyone's whining they can't do it. Hence the dolts.

Easy to recognize and do, maybe, yes. First time with Wiiscrubber, i can figure out how to extract the files, now how to take the changes i made and put them back in :-/, no idea.

It was all explained by me earlier in this thread. The only difference people seem to be having is with a different number of partitions. Just use the one that says "Data".

Yeah, I guess I am a dolt since I can't figure out how to replace the partition correctly. I always get that (BAD) thing, and turns into 140mb instead of the original 3.XGB of file. I spent so far 8 hours through trial and error, 3/4 of those time is when it's extracting and replacing the partition and ending up a failure.

Because this is a community, bro. Don't be so anti-sharing. What a downer.

Just make a new damn partition with partitionbuilder. Then delete the data partition in the ISO. Right click -> Import -> Unencrypted.

That's ALL.

oops, i scrolled the 8 pages and havent noticed it, thx bro!

P.S. This is a thread on the patch, guys, not on how to use WiiScrubber. If I can hack this game before knowing any programming, then I’m sure you guys can manage to navigate the contextual menus just fine.

Would appreciate comments about the patch content, the patch method, and the game in general. Questions about those are also good. Cmon - no one here is interested in the awesome way you can patch retail disks? No one wants to point out the crappy typos on making your first save file that we missed because all the testers had played the game in Japanese beforehand and thus already had savefiles? No one wants to ask about why there are two ghost lists, or whether or not we’ve found any problems, or how many girls flocked to my harem after release?

No one wants to ask if the game is scary and cool?

Personally, I am more interested in the game than patching it with WiiScrubber.

It is pretty awesome that you and your group even made this possible in the first place. I definitely don't understand why this wasn't published anywhere but Japan. Also, I was wondering...what's the deal with the two fonts anyway? I don't have the game to try it right now, so..

Would love to, but having trouble setting up the game to play. We waited for you, you can wait for us. Is that ok?

As for the game itself, I have a bit of a warning to those with HD TVs and composite cables - the game is WAY too dark to be playable. I'm planning on picking up a set of component cables just for this game, but right now I cant do anything with it on real hardware, so all my time with it thus far has been in the dolphin emulator.

As such, I've noticed what might be glitches, but I dont want to say them without first confirming whether or not they occur on real hardware. Those would be that the text appears to be somewhat out of sync in the opening cutscene, and when it asks to create a save file some of the text is garbled.
