Hacking FAT32 vs NTFS

My Wii drive just died, but I was previously using 1 full FAT32 partition with WiiFlow Mod.

I need to replace the drive and was wondering if there is anything that doesn't work on NTFS.
I really only use WiiFlow and it's guts (Emu-Nand for WiiWare & Emulators). Once I get the new drive I would like to start messing around with DML as well. Do all of these features work with NTFS?

(Any links to good deals on 500+GB drives are welcome as well)

DML will only work with FAT32 formatted SD card, not sure if NTFS will show whats on your FAT32 SD card.....
Check Walmart, MicroCenter, Bestbuy, Newegg for USB drives

I thought there was some kind of feature that allowed for the GC games to be on USB, but copied over to the SD card before running...

Yes there is, but you still need an FAT32 SD card
