Gaming Fastest file hosting??

I just wanted to know everyone's preferred file hosting site..
I know some that are fast like netload.in, and megaupload.
Just asking so I know which ones to use

Megaupload has always been the fastest for me, and it has a very large limit that I almost never reach.

I've never figured that one out lol.

However most ISP's will give you a dynamic IP address, meaning you get a different IP address every time your router connects. All you have to do is log in to your router and disconnect/ reconnect and all your usage on the file downloading sites will be reset.

LOL, for megaupload all you have to do is clear cookiess...
And TK, how do you know if you have a static or dynamic IP??
Guys try netload, itss insane I get 1 mb/s average for like a 300 mb file (porn)..

If you get crappy speed, restart the download until you get a decent download speed.

Clearing cookies will not help you bypass their limit. Dynamic IP means that whenever you reset your router/modem, you're assigned a new IP - which is precisely what bypasses their limit. If you have a static IP, then it'll be the same all the time.

Most people with broadband are given a static IP because that tends to provide a more stable connection (according to my ISP at least) but you should also be given the option to switch to a dynamic IP. The only reason I haven't (in the interests of bypassing bandwidth limits with sites like MU) is because in many games I play, if I disconnect randomly in the middle of the game, I need the same IP to reconnect and resume (without it declaring me as someone completely different). Games tend to think 1 IP = 1 person, so having dynamic IP = many people.

I've had pleasant experiences with zshare on the downloading side of things. You can download 8 or so files concurrently. It's only a 1GB storage for free users and only 2GB for premium which is kinda' low depending on what you are doing.

But the tried and tested: Megaupload and Dropbox (Mmm, dropbox)

i have tryed alot of file sharing sites (Megaupload, zshare, 4shared, filehippo, rapidshare and so on)
And so far for me mediafire is the best one.

Megaupload, i had 2mb/s for a PSP game

Mediafire has descent DL speed (sometimes slaw sometimes fast), but really the best in overall.

Many people complain that MediaFire doesn't work for them. Personally I find it always works, but it's always half the speed of MegaUpload. It is true that it has no limits though.

Dropbox has a decent speed too, but a low amount of storage unless you pay (and no download limits that I'm aware of). I use it as a means to keep certain files available across my computers/laptops (such as University work).

Someone once recommended Illimitux 4.0. It's a FireFox add-on that bypasses wait times and limits of RapidShare and MegaUpload and a few others. Whilst it's not perfect, it's a useful alternative sometimes.

Hotfile for being the fastest in speed I have seen.
But MegaUpload is the fastest for getting a lot of files done in a short time.
No waiting times between files, no problems with captchas with JDownloader. Hotfile has like 15 minutes between each file, sucks.
You can just download so much MU links in such a short time, very good.

But +1 Hotfile if it's purely watched on speed.
