[Pokemon Fan]

A note on the HG/SS pokesav, whenever I edit my save and save the edit it erases my Trainer name. When I load my game my name is listed as ????? and all pokemon caught by me now act as traded pokemon. This could be becuase the text of the program doesn't seem to load correctly on my computer, but I don't know how to fix it so I will leave things as they are for now. Also ralph9994 if you were referring to the HG/SS editor, when I edited my pokeballs, everything worked fine, in and out of battle, also the Medicine bag edit worked as well.

Load pokesavhgss through this app:

Set it to Japanese (the last selection in the list), then it should display it correctly.
But if you saved already... unless you are able to type your Japanese-Font name back in, it's stuck like that. (The "big" roman letters in Japanese games are different to the regular roman letters you see in English games)

P.S. I'm currently working on translating pokesavhgss v0.02 to English.

Is this the only way?
Why? the pokemon trainer name its the same why only the trainers card keeps like this ????

I have something sad to report about Pokesav... you can't make pokemon above level 100

Try copy/pasting some jap. I did it with a few random characters from google and it worked fine.

Hmm looks great. Nice to use for getting all my pokemon to level 100 and trading em for other pokemon.

even though i recently joined here (very recently) i have used pokesav for a long time and never worked out how i would explain it

I just recently downloaded this and I've been trying with two different games, Platinum and HG. But every time I use that sav file onto my R4 and load it, it takes me right back to the begining of the game, no Continue option.

This is probably me doing something dumb but, what am I doing wrong?

Wrong format? I am not really touching any files at all. I am on an R4 and the only time I touch the .sav files is to transfer them to my computer to have a copy and work with it. Should I not click save? I also tried Save As and it gave me the same problem. orz

platinum and hg/ss need their own version of pokesav because the save files are kinda different from version to version

can i get help? i start a new pokemon platinum game, save it, upload my save and edit it, then start my game but it doesnt work. anyone know why? Am i supposed to save with rts or regularly save my game? also, when i save i turn off my ds, turn it back on then turn it off before i edit the file, and when i put the edited save back on i restart a new game. im using m3i zero.

NVM i found my problem, apparently theres pokesav for diamond and pearl, while as platinum has its own. heres a VERY useful site that will show you everything about pokesav http://projectpokemon.org/editing/pokesav/. sorry if its already been posted.

Is there still anyone who dumps or uploads the WonderCard files for the newer distribution events? PKMDB had some up, but nothing newer than last September, and I don't care to drive an hour to the nearest GameStop just for a Pichu.

Yeah, just look at the ProjectPokemon forums. From what I've been looking at, it doesn't seem like pkmdb will come back up, and frankly it seems it hasn't had anyone running it since last fall.

On the PP forums you can make requests, but theres no thread with all the event legendary .pkm files.. which is disappointing.
