You can export the save via Checkpoint and edit it on a save editor on PC I have just tried it and it worked

I googled Fallout Shelter save editor and clicked the first one

I imagine there is no easy, clear cut way around that then? Plat doesn't look too hard to do legitimately though.

O the same page the editor is there is a link to a page that has encrypt and decrypt option. Would that be helpfull for ps4?
