Guys, has anyone sucessfully got their EZFlash IV save games to transfer over to their EzFlash V. I figured it would be the same format, but when I drag them onto the V (and rename them if appropriate) the games stall out, and don't load up. Has anyone got theirs to work?

I'm not sure... but I suggest you ask cory over at the ez forums about this, he seems to know it all.

Do I really come off like a "know it all" ? There is plenty of things I know nothing about... social graces I think tops the list.

Slade over at the ezflash forum was saying he did, didn't say anything about changing file sizes (just changed the names to match and put them in the correct save folder).

I did as well, but I used a hex editor to trim the ones I wanted to keep to the proper size first:
4K EEPROM = 512 bytes (0.5KB)
64K EEPROM = 8192 bytes (8KB)
128K EEPROM = 16384 bytes (16KB)
256K EEPROM = 32768 bytes (32KB)
512K EEPROM = 65536 bytes (64KB)
2M Flash = 262144 bytes (256KB)
4M Flash = 524288 bytes (512KB)
Simplest way to find the size is to put the ROM on the card and check the bottom screen, or run it and reboot and let it create the correct size save file for you to replace...
