Hi, I recently got an R4 SDHC and an EZFlash 3in1 (version EZ5C11) for my NDS Lite, but for some odd reason, everytime I try to utilize my EZFLash with my R4, I always get the "Please upgrade the hardware for support latest firmware" text with the perpetual "Loading" sign above it. I've tried using Rudolph's, Cory's, and other firmware, but it just won't work. What do I do (besides getting a new slot 1 cartridge)?

Thanks :)

There are a bazillion R4DS cards these days - all clones. There are plenty of different types of R4DS SDHCs as well. I happen to have one. I suggest you try to use the latest AKAIO loader (as a .nds file, as the card won't work without its official firmware) but make sure it is a hacked one (because they don't support clones any more). Shouldn't be hard to find, but I need to update mine.

Also, with all these damn R4DS clones around, you generally need to go searching for patches for all different things. For example, there is a special patch to make the rumble feature work but you have to get a different one for each game, and it takes a while to find all the patches you need, plus make sure they are configured properly. You're just gonna have to search around.

Furthermore, the R4DS cards often have a website written on them. If so, go there to find the latest firmware for the card. If not, look around for different R4DS firmwares (don't get the official one), and just try them all.

Because of all the clones, it's hard to give specific links, and it's hard to give you exact details, so hopefully you can use what I've said and perhaps Google or something to search around more specifically for what you need.

My R4SDHC is from r4sdhc.com, the one with the gold packaging (v2.10T); the weird thing is that when I got to their website to download their firmware, my r4 doesn't play it and instead comes up with a ? Menu screen... And then when I do get the r4 menu to work, and then I plug in the EZ Flash 3in1 with the gbaexploader and everything, it says I need to "upgrade the hardware for support latest firmware"...

Is my 3in1 just a fake? I'm so flustered with this whole ordeal...

Also, on another note, one of my ds games won't save. Like, on my SD card, I see the .sav file (with the same name as the .nds file) but when I go to play it on the R4, it always goes to "New Game" like I never played at all!

The game in question is a 64MB game, which I guess is the problem, as all of the other games that work fine are 32MB. What do I do? I tried to convert it, but it didn't work...
