There are a bazillion R4DS cards these days - all clones. There are plenty of different types of R4DS SDHCs as well. I happen to have one. I suggest you try to use the latest AKAIO loader (as a .nds file, as the card won't work without its official firmware) but make sure it is a hacked one (because they don't support clones any more). Shouldn't be hard to find, but I need to update mine.
Also, with all these damn R4DS clones around, you generally need to go searching for patches for all different things. For example, there is a special patch to make the rumble feature work but you have to get a different one for each game, and it takes a while to find all the patches you need, plus make sure they are configured properly. You're just gonna have to search around.
Furthermore, the R4DS cards often have a website written on them. If so, go there to find the latest firmware for the card. If not, look around for different R4DS firmwares (don't get the official one), and just try them all.
Because of all the clones, it's hard to give specific links, and it's hard to give you exact details, so hopefully you can use what I've said and perhaps Google or something to search around more specifically for what you need.
