Modulo hacked the latest loader to fix a bug or two with the GBA running (there is an alternative that makes there only be GBA mode as well), it is available on my site and the last couple of packs:

I forget the technical reason (something to do with setting VRAM blocks to be the same) but frames may appear to skip when in DS mode.
Originally though (the pre EZ4 compact/deluxe supporting) loaders did this correctly, resetting (now default in modulo's loaders) cleared this up for the later ones.

I have the first Ez4(the big one), tbh it's the best freaking slot2 card
