ok, homies... the king's back...
i've already gotten my hands on a ds that i share with my li'l bro... it's technically his but he rarely plays it and i play it at night or when i'm taking a crap... yes.
BUT... i gave away my micro... sorta... my girlfriend stole it and then when she went to vietnam she felt bad for the kids there and she asked if i could let them have it... i agreed and NOW i want another one... the gba games are amazing and they have all those snes ports and all... i miss it =[... i miss the bit generation games, too! like coloris, dotstream... orbital... damnit...
anywhoooo... i need help on picking my flash cart, again... i already went through this but i didn't like the fact that the g6 couldn't be skinned on the gba loader... all i could do was stick a crappy bg in there...
what i was looking for was a nice flash cart that could be easily managed (i could just drag & drop the files if needed)... and didn't require too much work to upload just 1 game... i remember i had an ez2 powerstar before and that thing was crap as hell... if i wanted to upload one game, i'd have to re-upload the other 2 that i did earlier... and the save management was hectic! i wanna be able to skin it to my personal style... i hate loading games through an ugly loader... i have to look at that EVERY single time i turn on the micro!
i did some research but i'm still unclear of how the ez4 works... i know we use the miniSD to load the games and such but how do the skins work? do i just upload images into the miniSD as well or do i have to like... recompile the loader.bin file like the ez2? ahh... headaches... if anyone could clarify how the ez4 works, i'd rather switch to the ez4... just because i want to skin it... but then again... if it's going to be a headache to manage all my files on it... i'd best not switch... i was ok with the g6... just i hated that i couldn't skin it.
