    ok, homies... the king's back...
i've already gotten my hands on a ds that i share with my li'l bro... it's technically his but he rarely plays it and i play it at night or when i'm taking a crap... yes.

BUT... i gave away my micro... sorta... my girlfriend stole it and then when she went to vietnam she felt bad for the kids there and she asked if i could let them have it... i agreed and NOW i want another one... the gba games are amazing and they have all those snes ports and all... i miss it =[... i miss the bit generation games, too! like coloris, dotstream... orbital... damnit...

anywhoooo... i need help on picking my flash cart, again... i already went through this but i didn't like the fact that the g6 couldn't be skinned on the gba loader... all i could do was stick a crappy bg in there...

what i was looking for was a nice flash cart that could be easily managed (i could just drag & drop the files if needed)... and didn't require too much work to upload just 1 game... i remember i had an ez2 powerstar before and that thing was crap as hell... if i wanted to upload one game, i'd have to re-upload the other 2 that i did earlier... and the save management was hectic! i wanna be able to skin it to my personal style... i hate loading games through an ugly loader... i have to look at that EVERY single time i turn on the micro!

i did some research but i'm still unclear of how the ez4 works... i know we use the miniSD to load the games and such but how do the skins work? do i just upload images into the miniSD as well or do i have to like... recompile the loader.bin file like the ez2? ahh... headaches... if anyone could clarify how the ez4 works, i'd rather switch to the ez4... just because i want to skin it... but then again... if it's going to be a headache to manage all my files on it... i'd best not switch... i was ok with the g6... just i hated that i couldn't skin it.

    1) Why use a different font?
    2) I know G6 has very very limited skinning, you can pick a startup screen I think and a background. I'm pretty sure M3 lite has full skinning, and EZF IV has basic skinning. I have never used them (besides G6) and I can't back this up, however.

    i like being different... lol

and... the m3 sticks out if i'm not mistaken

    thanks, though

EDIT: ok, i just did some serious research on the m3 lite... now i want one lol... i was scared because i didn't understand why some of the m3 lite's couldn't play gba games and some could... then i found out the difference... m3 lite pro = focus on ds. m3 lite perfect = both.

my only concern is if the m3 lite perfect actually comes with the 'phat' shell. if not, i'm going to have to order one from kicktrading.

EZ4 and EZ3 are both fully skinable, as well as the most compatible of all the GBA Flash carts.

the sites will tell you if it actually comes with the phat shell or not
i would seriously recommend the EZIV since you can load games to the secondary storage(NOR) and start them without loading.
    its a lot cheaper too
the buildquality is a bit weird though because on one side its completely solid but on the other side it opens up slightly, my guess is so taking out the memcard is easier
got one EZIV myself and i love it

thanks guys... but i've made my decision. i'm sticking to the m3 lite perfect. it's the closest i can stay to the g6 lite (so there's not much difference in usage and build)... but it will be skinnable =]
