EZ-Flash Omega cheats not working on DS Lite

Sorry, I don't know if this would be the correct place, but I didn't find anything that talks about it in my internet searches.

I recently purchased an NDS Lite and later an EZ-Flash Omega (Non-DE), and followed the tutorial on the site about formatting, updating firmware, configuring, etc.

However I can't use cheats and state saves, could someone help me with this?

First of all, you need to put the cheats on your sd card. Than you have to enable cheats in the menu by selecting the cheat box (on the right side) before you can use them.
