yeah i know what he's talking about the clone console gb boy colour, i have it, i use the beta firmware they provided and it works fine on my GB boy Colour.
Friend, do gameboy COLOR games work on your GB Boy on the Beta you mention? If so, could you please provide a link to download this Beta!?

They are talking about the GB Boy color not the GameBoy Color.

The GB Boy color is a cheap clone that works with official GB and GB color carts, but most Flash Carts dont

The GB Boy Colour is cheap, certainly. But charming, indeed.

Just adding my $0.02. Just got my Junior 2 days ago, and the clock always resets to 2000/01/01. I updated to firmware 1.05, gonna see if 1.04 has the same issue.

Hope its not a bad card :/

Yes, with this 4-20 test color games also start on GB Boy, but saves DO NOT WORK. With firmware 2 and ezgb.dat from FW5K105RC SAVES WORK! The only problem that games hang from time to time. But it is better then nothing!

possible that your battery is empty. (CR1220)
Was the same with one of my cards.

Did you pop in a new battery? Did that fix it?

I dont want to have to return it and wait another week to get a second one, so if it is just the battery I'd spend the $5 and save myself the trouble

Can confirm fw and kernel 4 didnt change anything, so I guess I'm taking a trip to find a battery.

I dont understand how the battery could already be dead -- this thing hasnt even been out for more than a year, right?

Yes that has fixed it, bought a pack of 5 batteries for 3€

So, I took mine apart and checked the battery and thought "maybe it just got bumped around or something?" Took it out, put it back in, and its the same issue i'm having now. Gonna go try a new battery now :(

Get your multimeter out and check it

It was the battery! Now, I need a multimeter.

Very happy with this thingamajig after figuring out the reset button and replacing the battery. Thanks, all!

I would much rather have Save States than support for that oddly named knockoff, but I totally get why you'd want it. Strange it doesn't work, tbh.

Really happy with this thing once I got the battery figured out!
