Hacking EZ Flash IV NOR Oddity

I recently bought an EZ Flash IV (works great, saves great, has a working battery), but I seem to have run into an issue.

I've tried to write both Pokemon Emerald and Firered to NOR, but for some reason it doesn't work.

I'll press select, and it'll ask me if I want to write it to NOR, I'll say yes, and it will do the loading screen. When it finishes though the game isn't in the root folder separate from the SD card. In fact, I can't find it anywhere except for where it would be if I load it from PSRAM.

Am I doing something wrong, or is my cart bugged, or what? Can someone help?

We previously saw some issues with a handful of hacked games, http://ezflash.sosuke.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=17720 was one of the threads and should include a fix you can try (if you can use a hex editor then great, otherwise it is just an IPS patch to change a couple of bytes as discussed on the thread, http://www.no-intro.org/tools.htm should handle it).

Thanks for confirming it was the issue -- I had seen it with various hacked games in the past but simple fixes (I assume these are not heavily hacked versions) went kind of unconfirmed for some time.
