So I just got me an EZ-Flash IV for my GBM, and have it all set up and working, but I have a question regarding the battery. From the research I have done, it is suggested to charge it for 6-8 hours in a Gameboy/DS that's powered on and plugged in, while at the same time, it might not even have a rechargeable battery.
What should I do? How do I know if it's rechargeable or not, besides the packaging? Is there any good way to open up the case without breaking it? It already is loose on one corner. And if it's not rechargeable, how long does the battery last before I need to replace it?
Thanks.

QUOTE(how_do_i_do_that @ Feb 23 2010, 05:35 PM) The more recent ones on the market, the ones that come in the cheap cardboard box and plastic have a NON-rechargable CR-2025 battery. It doesn't matter what the text file says or what everyone else says, those reviews where done when the damn thing came in a wooden box and everything.
The rechargable VL-2025 have to be recharged every 3 to 4 months. One of my EZ-IV have been sitting around for over a year and it still has the save file from then. A rechargable battery would have lost it's charge by then.
