Can I use rechargeable battery for Ez falsh omega?

Can I use ML1220 battery instead of CR1220 tabbed for EZ flash omega (non DE)?
It is rechargeable version of cr1220.
I have no idea will it be charged by PCB on EZ flash.

You can use it, but it won't charge.
It is probably blocked by a diode.
If you modify the circuit, it might be possible.
