Hardware Extract save file from GC Memcard?

There isn't exactly a GameCube board on this forum so I'll post here.
So I have a horizontal Wii (meaning no Memcard slots) and a hardmodded GC and I want to be able to use my GC save files on my Wii with Devolution without buying a Memcard with an SD card slot on it.

Is there any sort of GameCube homebrew that when burnt to a RW-DVD, can extract save files from the Memcard to said RW-DVD?

GCMM runs through Homebrew Channel; burning it as a DVD image would take a lot of extra effort and I'm not sure it's worth the hassle.

EDIT: Wait, you want to run this on a hardmodded GC and have it save the memory card image to the DVD itself? That kinda requires the system to have a DVD burner, which isn't a thing. GCMM will run on GameCube via burned DVD, but you will definitely need an SD adapter to backup the save files. You may want to look into getting a cheap used RVL-001 instead.

Alright, I borrowed a friend's RVL-001 and I have successfully transferred the save file to the SD card using GCMM but I'm having issues putting the save file back onto the memcard.
