External HDD not working but SD Card does

Hello there,

today I set up my Wii according to this guide: Wii Guide

I have done everything up to the point where I want to start USB Loader GX and/or WiiFlow Lite... and it doesnt work at all if I do it with the external HDD that I intend to use...

The external HDD I am using is a 1TB Seagate that I formatted to FAT32 and plugged into the Wii with a Y-Cable into both USB Ports... Starting the Hombrew Menu all the Apps are recognized from the HDD.... However if I try to start USB Loader GX the HDD isnt recognized by it and starting WiiFlow Lite just crashes on start-up right back to the HBM.

After that I tried putting all the files from the HDD on my 64GB FAT32 SD-Card and tried starting WiiFlow from that... And then it started and I could play my wbfs Game that was on the SD-Card.

Has anybody an idea how to fix this ?

what versions of wiiflow and usb loader gx are you using??

did you plug the large usb cable into port 0, and the small usb cable into port 1??
