Hacking Every rom keeps changing from .3ds to .bad on sky3ds+ card

I have not played with my 3ds for 4 years and i totally forgot about the process on how to add a rom into my sky3ds+, i thought it was simply dragging the rom into the microsd card and thats it but it keeps changing it into a bad file. can someone please help me. thank you so much

Your card might be corrupted or the files are, or the files are modified 3ds files (they need to be freshly dumped from cartridges and not converted from cia files or otherwise modified).
