Gaming EV Training and Rare Candies.

I'm EV training, and I always hear that Rare Candies don't take into account the EV's that you gain. Now, Serebii says that they DO. Which is the one? I'd appreciate the help.

And to answer the question, no. Only levelling up by battling. Levelling up with them Candies will have no effect to EVs whatsoever.

As far as I know, rare candies allow you to level up without affecting your EV spreads.

dont use rare candies. the mess up your stats pretty badly.

This means that EVs work normally when you use Rare Candies (aka, EV stats are gained via such levelling), not that Rare Candies give + EV.
