Etrian Odyssey games are so fun.... I just wish I stopped getting killing by the monsters every floor.

I never gave the series much of a chance, but I didn't seem to like them too much... seemed to complex. I need to give them another try sometime.

They aren't really complex, but the difficulty is insane.

EO2 was nice, but doesn't this feel a bit too deja vu for you guys? It looks way to samey for me.

I still havent even beat the first 2. I was halfway when the 2nd came out. Now the third one is coming when im halfway in the 2nd game. Then gain I kinda got sidetracked with other things.

i kinda dont like dungeon games esp if they are difficult to maneuver (in fact any tactical game)... etrian pretty much did a lot after every release esp now we can see some nice additions

They aren't really complex, but the difficulty is insane.

I wouldn't really call it insane, it's quite easy as long as you know what skills to use.

Example: EO1, get medic with Immunize and the Defender with the skill you get after getting Front Guard and Rear Guard a few levels (Defense formation? can't remember)

use at the beginning of a fight, use when they run out, in between just have your party members bash on the enemy, if you have an Alchemist give him poison skills.


Not sure about EO2 though, I heard they nerfed a lot of the skills so I never got around to playing it.
