"Error data abort!" shows up when i run a game in Twilight Menu ++

I get a data abort screen when i try to run Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Defiance and i have bo clue how to fix it! I have already tried deleting the "patchOffsetcache" folder in my sd card but still get the same problem. Anybody know how to help?

Switch the "Game Loader" setting to "Kernel" in either the per-game settings menu or the TWLMenu++ Settings menu.

So you're not using something like an R4, Acekard, Ace3DS+, or something like that?

No I'm using a normal SanDisk sd card that I put the boot9strap and Luma3DS on to mod my device and installed twmenu and ndsboot strap through the universal updater.

Which games are you getting the error in? And do you have cheats enabled?

Pokemon soulsilver and I used an randomized on the Rom to enable trade evos to evolve by level.

You'll need to AP-patch the clean ROM using DS-Scene ROM Tool, and then apply the randomizer on the AP-patched ROM.

Hi, I got the same error on my 3ds, same CFW and download method for twilight menu. but the game is Soma Bringer. I checked the AP patch list and this game seems to not require AP patch. Should I still try? I also tried using different ROMs, like original Japanese version English version and other language version but they all run into same error data abort. Could it be a problem with my save file, as I transferred save file from PC that I played using melonDS in the past. Thanks.

No idea. Try deleting the save file and try again. If the issue persists, re-add the save file, and turn off card read DMA for the game by pressing Y button in TWLMenu++, then scroll down to turn off said setting.

Hello, i have the same issue with the heartgold. I tried reinstalling twilight and nds, and changing some things on the game options, but nothing seems to work, i also changed roms but it still crashes to data abort or the game freezes, the animations are still working but it remains in that position until i reboot.

Is this with a hacked/randomized ROM?
If so, then run DS-Scene ROM Tool to apply the AP-patch to clean ROM, and then apply the ROM hack or randomizer to the AP-patched ROM.
