Hardware Error 003-2101

My 3ds can't connect to my home's wifi and gives me this error, but my laptop and phone works fine with my home wifi. But when I use my phone's personal hotspot, the 3ds internet works fine.

Any help? I went to the nintendo website and followed the steps but it didn't work. Restarted the router and 3ds many times too, didn't work either.

Are your internet settings for the 3DS the same as the ones for your computer? >>Laptop Master Race<< Or you could just leave it hooked up to your phone's hotspot since that works.

Or, how are your phone's settings different from your laptop's?

Well, then, you'll have to connect it to your phone since it's the only way you can connect it... successfully... default settings doesn't mean they're all the same; did you see if they all use the same type of connection? That's all I can think of.
