We started out by reading the given instructions. It stated which materials we had at our disposal, to find a way to express the time of an oscillation of a spring. After that, we looked and examined the materials we had, and started brainstorming all possible factors that might have some affect on the oscillation. The most obvious ones were mass m (kg), thickness of the spring b (m), diameter d (m) and the amount of revolutions n (revolutions). We also thought the gravity g (m/s^2) had some affect on the oscillation, but figured out that it's the same gravity force affecting the spring in both the downward and upward movements, which results with no affect. One more factor that we added was the material of the springs which will also affect the oscillation. In our case there were two kinds of material, steel and stainless steel.
