Hey, my Wii has been bricked for quite a while and I've heard you can use a SaveMii dongle in a GameCube card slot or a GameCube controller to get the recovery menu on a Wii. Thing is I have a Black Wii so it doesn't come with those slots 
. I saw a video on YouTube where a guy booted up a WAD installer using a SD card, but he had bootmii installed as boot2. I checked the comments and people who didn't have bootmii installed as boot2 got a menu but they couldn't get to the WAD manager bit. Since the recovery menu is build in to the Wii by Nintendo couldn't you boot it up from a file on a SD card when the Wii starts up?
