Before installing sx os i made a nand backup with hekate then accidentally ran sx os cfw mode and had to re install my nand just in case.

With i made my emunand and some of my personal games like mk8 and odyssey are asking for software updates with no start software option?

If i use incognito to erase my prod info and have stealth mode enabled will i be safe to use tinfoil for game updates?

Gag-Order is basically this;

When the Deja vu exploit was released, if your console was on 4.1.0 and you connected to the Internet. Nintendo sends a supernag flag to block access to the web applet, Gag-order removes the supernag flag.

Nag;
Start Software
Cancel
Update

SuperNag;
Cancel
Update

No way to boot the applet basically.

Ahh ok but my switch is 8.1 not 4.1.0 im trying to see if i be ok to connect to internet using icognito and stealth mode if not what else i might need to use tinfoil without the possiblilty of getting banned.

You misunderstood, you see i believe you somehow got a supernag, which is what gagorder removes.

  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    are you using haxchi, tiramisu or aroma?
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    no, I'm asking which one of them you are using
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    ohhhhh
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    on tiramisu you can access it by opening mii maker
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    okay
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    i just didint know the homebrew launcher didint exist in aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    thanks btw
