Was hopping for a quick answer here as searching the net with these key words is mildly pointless. I have a retropi set up and just love it. I have a kodi box running on a android box(H96 PRO) for movies and love it. From what I know the processors are about the same. What i'd like to do is just run a Kodi like front from my H96 and play my games rather then using the pi. Less devices... So I believe what I'm looking for is a retro arch app and a kodi add-on. From my searching it looks like there are many over complicated solutions. There should be only one retro arch app for android, I don't see why we would need more? Also I can understand why there are many front ends but surly there has to be one that stands out?

Anyone do this?

Different builds, to say only one some people prefer a single emulator app, others prefer one app per system, others one per game... then there are build variants, "optimizations", etc

Correct me if I'm wrong retro arch is designed for more then one core. If we are talking no multi cores here, then yeah I get that but the retro arch team only needs one build per processor type? reto-pi, retro-arch-x86, retro-arch-arm etc... Aside from special branches there should only be one arm branch, or at least one main.

You can set up rom collection browser and run games through kodi. If you add the Ares wizard to kodi it has an automatic configuration set up
