EMS = PAIN!

Hey guys,
I have ordered many things via EMS, never came before 7 days...(EVEN AIRMAIL TAKES ME ABOUT 4 DAYS FROM HK(DX) SOMETIMES).

Anyways, i have never used the EMS tracking site before. Now I ordered something from ebay(chinaseller), and he claims that he shipped my item on 18th.
EMS tracking not showing anything...(i know, i know, nothing new. but in the past it did show up after 1 day for other tracking sites..).

I mean what the hell... EMS = Express Mail Service, or rather EMS = FAILZ!


I had issues with DHL, where they lost my package. But at least they update their tracking site

The item i bought is a gift for my friend..

Any suggestions?

Parcelforce website is says "Handed Over" in the status. Where the www.ems.com.cn website says Despatched...


I am worried..
It hasnt been updated the last 2-3 days. Custom charging? or was is returned to sender?

Why is it always me... first DHL loses parcel and now that...


Here is what it says on parcelforce website:
Service: Parcelforce 24
Status: Handed Over
Last tracked at: Delivery Agent - SHANGHAI - PTT


on ems website it only says despatched.

Well from china it should have come straight to UK.
Why would it go all the way to US and then back to UK!?

anyways... more waiting for me. At least now I know what caused the delay and that the parcel isnt lost.

Could be that the plane it was on (assuming Airmail, knowing chinese ebay sellers I'd be surprised if it wasn't sent by rowboat) was eastward bound.

Express doesn't mean "fast", just faster than standard. 3 days would be the super-fastest you can get it from Europe I reckon, expecting something to arrive from China (aka halfway around the world) that quickly is just a little bit silly

Don't forget you can't count weekends for most couriers either; if it shipped thursday that's actually only 3 working days so far.

But the fact that my parcel went to US is weird..
