Hacking Elink 512 w/Spyro Eternal Night

Okay guys, so far my new Elink 512 has only had trouble with one game: The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night. I can flash it to the cart just fine, but it hangs on startup. It shows the GB logo, but no Nintendo underneath...then once the logo finishes appearing, it's done. I've tried two different copies of the file with the same result, and tried the Euro ROM just in case, and that actually crashes the Elink software with some kind of error message.

Has anyone else run into this problem?

Have you tried using a tool like GBATA to fix the header?

What would I need to 'fix'? I have downloaded GBATA and used it to look at the ROM, but the only thing it seemed to indicate I could/should do is trim it...which didn't help the situation. I do still have the unaltered copy...what might I need to fix in the header?

I've acquired the U ver from 2 different sources, same problem with each. Acquired E ver from yet another source, same problem. Dumped by diff groups, even. GBAATA won't allow me to fix header...button is greyed out, so I'm assuming header must be okay. Anything else to try?
