Hacking elf on modded wii?

Hi all,

I'm new to wii homebrew, as I just installed a mod chip, and I'm having trouble getting started. I've managed to use WAD installer thanks to the topics in this forum, but what I really want to do is try some .elf homebrews. How do I go about running these without the TP hack? Is there a channel I can install that run them, or some kind of loader that I can put in an ISO with trucha?

You need to install the Homebrew Loader .wad using the wad installer.

When you do that, you make a folder called "homebrew" and put separate folders in that folder for your homebrew.

So if I want to play Tyrian, I'd put all the files in /homebrew/tyrian/?

Problem solved! I had to the the elf file in that dir and put the other tyrian fold in the root.
