Total falsch, mein Kumpel. Fuer Englisch sprechender, Deutsch ist eine der einfachste Sprachen, die man lernen kann. Ohne Zweifel.

I lived in Germany for two years, and although my German is certainly not perfect, I can read a novel without a dictionary, watch a movie without subtitles, and have a conversation about pretty much any topic.

I've been living in Japan now for almost four years. My Japanese is far far far far worse than my German. German is a cake walk in comparison.

It's all about your native language. If you're an English speaker, German is absolutely NOT one of the most difficult languages. Far from it.

im vergleich zwischen englisch französisch und spanisch is deutsch wohl eindeutig die schwerste sprache, einfach weil die grammatik schwerer ist und man dieser vielmals keine standartregel, zb bezüglich von konjugationen entnehmen kann. außerdem geht die sprache einen allmählichen wandel durch einflüsse von anderen sprachen, besonders englisch, durch. fachwort 'denglisch'

it is obvious that in comparisen to french spanish and english, german is the hardest language, simply because the grammar is more difficult and there isn't a standart rule for many cases e.g. relating to conjugations that could be used over and over. also the language is developing slowly through influences from other languages, especially english, the technical term 'denglisch'
