I played your game a bit and encounter no problem. I suggest you remove everything from \atmosphere\contents\ and put in what comes with atmosphere official release. https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere

Only life is dynamic which require dumping. I dump for PC. It's a lot faster. The others are static. You can tell by seeing that they are still valid after reloading the game. For static ones you can directly add them to cheat file.

You may want to look at what you did between cold booting and seeing the problems. If it already has problem from cold boot maybe you want to raise a request for the author of the pack you use to look into it.

I am considering making multi search capability. One search for different values and types.

Direct pointer candidate dump from switch
[IMG] tomvita released this 1 hour ago

Perfect partner of EdiZon SE. No need to dump and transfer dump file. Directly transfer pointer candidates and bookmark address over to PC for pointer search. Ultra fast transfer! Typically takes just one minute to make a full pointer dump. No more manual entry of addresses.

Place the content of the zip file in \atmosphere\contents\054e4f4558454000; You must delete \atmosphere\contents\0100000000000038 if present.

able to function with dmnt detached

Some games does not work properly (game timing is disrupted causing sound and video jitters) when dmnt is attached to the game process. This release provide two alternatives with such games.

    1. Set dmnt to auto attach (create a file "\switch\edizon\autoattach.txt") and detach dmnt (ZL+B) before exiting EdiZon SE.
    2. Do not set dmnt to auto attach (make sure there isn't this file "\switch\edizon\autoattach.txt") and detach dmnt (ZL+B) once if needed and dmnt will stay detached for the whole gaming session. EdiZon SE will have all the functionality except those relating to cheat code and freezing memory.

hmmmm i remember edizon being a cheat program where you could go through the list of games you have and apply cheats.
this does not seem like its that anymore, so is there any other cheat applying program you can use? i just want a program i can load, go through my games list and apply the cheats?

Im dealing with a massive headache with this, dmnt is driving me bonkers, ive tried to add the system_settings.ini from config_templates folder to the config folder, edited the dmnt line to suit, also removed the ; from the start of each line, reboot and still complains of dmnt.

back to the forum thread, i read further along into the thread i needed to change the exefs.nsp in folder \atmosphere\contents\010000000000000D\exefs.nsp
so i did that too, to suit atmo 14.4. load up edizon, still complains about dmnt, ZL+B button also does nothing. realoding after zl+b also tells me about dmnt

to top it off, atmos doesnt seem to use the system_settings.ini file no more either by the looks of it as its not even in the config folder, i had to move it into there.

im thinking there needs to be a proper writeup on how to use edizon on the latest atmos and latest official firmware on the main front page, this threads confusing because theres various answers throughout the whole thread. main #1 thread should always have a install guide when its not exactly a copy and paste program thats updated when changes are made.

@roamin you don't need to worry about \atmosphere\contents\010000000000000D\exefs.nsp. It is optional. You can enjoy many features without it.

    constantly have the dmnt message!

im on 14.4 atmo on 10.2 ofw

i have actually just moved on now. no matter what i tried with the system_settings.ini file i just constantly receive the dmnt message. im over pressing ZL+B and restarting to only see the same message every restart. rebooted after every ini file modification i did to make sure it was in effect.

my system_settings.ini looks like this, which if this is correct who knows what else it can be.

    [atmosphere]
    dmnt_always_save_cheat_toggles = u8!0x0
    dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0

so ive made the changes. im on stock atmosphere, still not working. i have to give up as its frustrating me now.

@roamin I have change the behaviour of my latest release. Sorry for confusion and frustration that may have cause.

First thing to quickly address what I think you saw. Add a file "/switch/EdiZon/autoattach.txt". This file can be any content or zero in size. The app only check that it exist.

If you want an explanation what is happening then read on (the explanation may be confusing, maybe come back when it's working and you are fairly happy with it and curious about what happened).

I have made a series of changes to the behavior of EdiZon SE concerning dmnt. In sequential order:

    1. There is the desire to be able to update cheat code without restarting the game. This is useful for people who develop cheat code. So to this end I have forked the dmnt sysmodule. With this fork you can get a reload with ZL+B. Early version of the fork just make dmnt reload cheat code. Later version I detatched dmnt and reattach dmnt to arrive at the same effect. EdiZon need to reload to recognize the change so ZL+B also quits EdiZon SE.

    2. I discover some game have problem when dmnt is attached. So I make EdiZon not force attach dmnt when it launch. EdiZon SE looks for the file "/switch/EdiZon/autoattach.txt" and only force dmnt attach if the file is there. Up until recently EdiZon SE can't function without dmnt attached. Why I have this is because I replace "profile" with EdiZon (another optional thing) to make it faster to launch it. I need a way to quit with dmnt detatched. (with EdiZon replacing profile the only way to quit is the "Home" key). Exiting with "B" will just relaunch it just like you can't quit hbmenu without the "Home" key.

    3. Up until recently ZL+B will detach dmnt and quit EdiZon SE. My latest release it just detach but don't quit. So to detach and quit you need ZL+B and B.

    4. My latest release can function without dmnt attached. So when hacking games that has problem with dmnt there is two option. 1) Attach dmnt, search or modify memory, detach dmnt before continue to play the game (the reason for ZL+B and B to quit) Or 2) just use EdiZon SE without attaching dmnt. Why have option 1? Because option 2 wasn't available initially.

Finally I probably will change the behavior again since auto attach dmnt is probably the more common use case and for new user needing to add this extra file may be rather confusing. Maybe check for "noautoattach.txt" instead.

General system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience
    1. Now auto attach to dmnt is the default. To disable create "/switch/EdiZon/noautoattach.txt"
    2. Fix main segment selection bug which include some memory segment that isn't main segments.
    3. Fixed hex mode data entry and display bug when u8 is selected as datatype.
    4. The "exclude pointers from the DIFF results" change made in 3.7.6 has been reverted. (32bit pointers has higher overlap with real data)
    5. Now if (buildID).bmk isn't present and if "DirectTransfer.bmk" is present it will be rename to (buildID).bmk when import bookmark key is pressed. This is to make it more convenient to use bookmark file exported when using wifi direct dump of pointer candidate.
    6. Go back to auto exit after ZL+B to detatch dmnt. This is more likely to be the desired behavior. To disable create "/switch/EdiZon/noautoexit.txt".
    7. Direct pointer candidate dump from switch updated to support 32bit pointers candidates.
    8. Fixed bookmark fetch bug when bookmark file is locked by EdiZon SE.

    multi search

Now you can search for multiple items in one game state change. Especially useful when progress is slow in game and save point is rare. Now you don't have to decide if you want to search for HP, MP ,the potions or the coins. You can search for all of them at each game state change.

At the start of the app you will be asked to choose where the search data is to be stored. Press one of the buttons to choose between 5 options.
