If you register a developer account with Nintendo, they actually provide all the Amiibo data files (including unreleased), and sell the tags for $0.15 each. I think they'll only work on a dev unit, but it seems worth a try.
I believe this is related, it's in the wii u section, but I'm pretty sure it should work either way?
