Homebrew Editing/emulating Amiibo with Android software?

So I just found an app in the Play Store that can read and write NFC Tags with any chip(dont quote me on that), the apps name is NFC Tools. The reason im saying this is because Ive been looking into emulating amiibo characters as they are like 40-80RON.

There's nothing illegal about reading and writing NFC tags. I've heard of someone who put one on his phone charger so his lights would turn off when he set his phone to charge

Is it specifically for amiibo? Because NFC tags can be used to contain details such as Email Addresses or Websites so it is most likely supposed to be for things like that.

I own plenty of NFC tags that I can play with, I usually use them to prank people by having them open a porn website or something when scanned by a phone.

You can't just copy an Amiibo NFC tag though, I believe they're encrypted.

A quick search will provide the answers you need. Yes you can use an android smartphone to write amiibo to blank tags. Search for Tagmo and you should get all the info you need

It seems it isn't limited by any means though. You can still use as many as you want, you can only have 200 stored at once though.

Overall, the machine functions as advertised. Although, it comes in a plastic bag alongside a cardboard box with the pc reader in it, I found my device to be scratched and smudged on the plastic and pc reader device despite bubble wrap and plastic bags covering the content shipment. It may be because it is shipped from china via packet mail Hong Kong, so i probably won't return it for this reason although the scratches are heavily visible. It does work; the whole amiibo swapping feature is clunky though (you got to press a little knob to switch between amiibos), and the pc reader for the amiibo needs software drivers from their website. Honestly, I just keep a few amiibos on it because having 200 means having to switch between amiibos using that tedious little knob. Summary: Device and pc reader works satisfactorily from what I can tell, but can come scratched since shipped from china. Also, the seller is a pretty nice person and will help you along the way

Get an NFCT215 chip NFC Tag and write the .bin amiibo file(that iso site) to it... done

in theory it should work. The tag is like 3-4 bucks, and yes it can be done with a smartphone
