Hacking Edit BotW save file?

Is it possible?
I accidentaly fucked up and dropped my fucking hylian shield somewhere and lost it, and I really don't want to start over, but I also really want the shield.
So is there a way to edit the file or am I shit out of luck?
ps: If anyone has a savefile with both zora's and goron's divine beast beaten and the hylian shield still up for grabs and can share with me I would also be eternally grateful

Can't you load a save from before you lost it? the game autosaves whenever you enter a new area and it has like 4 autosave slots, i'm sure one of those are from before you lost your hylian shield.

No they're not ): I tried doing it, but it was already gone...
I went back to the prison, the boss was there again, but the chest did not spawn.
Guess I'm out of luck then

there is a vender that will allow you to re buy the shield. Where it is well idk.

Oh fuck, I had already got past the grief period and moved on, now I gotta find this motherfucker.
