Well theres a small CycloDS Evo compatibility list including 5 microSD cards, my own Kingston 2 GB works as well.

Specifically I'm wondering if a Sandisk 8gb or 4gb works.

Well... that i know but i also know that some cards have issues with certain microsds... so... just wanted to make sure that sandisk 4gb or 8gb works fine.

any SDHC works on edge up to 32gb

8GB Sandisk and 2GB Kingston works perfectly fine on my EDGE
